Houston, TX-native and Latin crossover singer-songwriter Paty Cant� will sing the National Anthem for the 11th annual Subway Jalapeno 250 Powered By Coca-Cola NASCAR Nationwide Series race on Friday night, July 6 at Daytona International Speedway. Cant� rose to fame as one of the founding members of the successful Mexican pop duo LU. In 2008, she began to pursue a solo career and released her debut album Me Quedo Sola in 2009 and No Eres T� in 2010. Cant�, who is a Subway Artista Fresco of the Year, is currently working on her third solo album that will be released in the fall of 2012.(DIS)(7-4-2012)
